MAG Upcoming Events

Members At Work

MAG members have the opportunity to participate in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor and Pastel Workshops, Local Art Shows (Judged and Non-Judged, and monthly meetings with dynamic speakers.

The Mississippi Artists' Guild has proudly promoted local Mississippi Artists since 1974.

Members Meet the First Tuesday of Each Month (September - May) at 5:30pm. If you are interested in joining the MAG Guild, please review the MAG Objectives and Membership Bylaws listed below to ensure our group will meet your expectations. Once you are satisfied that our guild is for you, select "Contact" and "Join Us" to complete an application for membership.

MAG Membership Bylaws

A. Membership shall be limited to those individuals who have attained the age of 18 and are residents of Mississippi.

B. The Executive Board will make a decision on any active member’s request for hardship status on a case by case basis.

C. No person otherwise qualified for membership in this organization will be denied membership because of race, religion, sex or political affiliations.

D. A prospective member will be permitted to attend only one meeting as a guest before making application for membership.

E. The Standing Rules of the Guild shall govern the process of membership applications.

MAG Objectives

  • Promote Local Artists within the state of Mississippi
  • Promote high standards of art among the members
  • Promote the study and improvement of Fine Art
  • Members participate in art competitions
  • Provide educational programs to increase the knowledge and talent of member artists
